The KCBS sanctioned Fin to Fur, Red, White and Blue BBQ Blowout is set for July 5th and 6th in Thayer Mo, brought to you by Fin to Fur in Thayer, Mo.
The Party starts at noon on Friday July, 5th and Friday night, at 6pm Country Music Star Mark Chestnutt will perform after special guest performer, Matthew Huff. Saturday, guest will have the chance to meet Troy and Jacob Landry as seen on the Swamp People® television series” on HISTORY®”, Willie Robertson as seen on Duck Dynasty®, television series on A & E®, two Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Jimmy Houston and Wally Marshall, known as Mr. Crappie.
Event Promoter and Owner of Fin to Fur and TAW Wholesale, Winston Tucker said he wanted to make this a family friendly, affordable event that would help stimulate the area economy. BBQ contestants will begin setting up at noon July 5th and the KCBS winners will be announced at 4pm Saturday.
Tickets go on sale May 15th, at Fin to Fur and K-Kountry 95 Radio Station or online at redwhitebluebbq.com. An all inclusive arm band will be pre-sold at $35 each and includes…general admission concert seating, Friday and Saturday event admittance, opportunity to meet the celebrities, BBQ taste testing and all of the other exciting activities. Mark Chestnutt concert only general seating is $25 and limited VIP seating is $150 which is the front three rows with snacks and drinks. Daily admission to the BBQ Blowout is $10 each day and includes BBQ sampling and the opportunity to meet the celebrities. General admission is $3 per person age 3 and under admitted free.
We are doing a new contest called Beat the Bluegrass and BBQ Buzzer, try to answer our question before the buzzer sounds and you could win a pair of tickets to Bluegrass & BBQ at Silver Dollar City.
